A familiar face is returning to Baton Rouge...

Jeff Martin, who once served as LSU's assistant director of player personnel and development on the 2019 National Championship team, will be joining Brian Kelly's staff as executive director of player personnel, according to reports.

The New Orleans native and LSU alum worked on Ed Orgeron's staff from 2015-2020 and joined USC's staff as director of scouting and player relations in March of 2021.

LSU went from two guys with a few years of experience to two guys who were running their respective departments at big time programs.

Great gets.

I have a hard time keeping up with the front office guys and what it is that they do exactly. would be a good thread for someone to start on the rant if they know what they're talking about

Kelly is trying to LOCK DOWN Louisiana recruiting once and for all. Looking for a new Frank Wilson or two!

CBK gets alot of crap, but his failure in recognizing what he needed to be competitive in the SEC is arguably this biggest issue we as fans should have with him. SEC football isn't a "learn on the job" spot. He needs to be competitive this year, or we need to cultivate some Cause.

Love it! CBK is putting us in a terrific position to be a Playoff contender in 2027 or 2028.

Recently served as USC’s director of scouting…ouch. It’s hard to screw up that spot but somehow he did. Another brilliant move by Kelly.??
