Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians announced Monday that safety Tyrann Mathieu has a torn ACL and is done for the season.

Mathieu, a standout defensive back at LSU from 2010-2012, suffered the injury during the Cardinals 40-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

Damn, that sucks big time. Huge loss for the Cardinals. Hope he recovers fully. Still would love to see the cardinals make a run - they're a very deserving team.

If the Cardinals didn't have shite luck, they'd have no luck at all.

Damn that's tough news. Been really pulling for him and it's been great seeing him become one of the games premier defensive play makers. I wish the Badger a speedy recovery...
