It is being reported that LSU's annual SEC opponents in Football for the next four seasons will be Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M, according to Chris Low of On3.

According to Wilson Alexander of The Advocate, LSU officials are not concerned about losing the Alabama game, as it will still happen every couple years.

Here's the full rundown for the SEC:
quote:

Alabama – Auburn, Tennessee, Mississippi State

Arkansas – Missouri, Texas, LSU

Auburn – Georgia, Alabama, Vanderbilt

Florida – Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky

Georgia – Auburn, Florida, South Carolina

Kentucky – South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida

LSU – Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M

Mississippi State – Ole Miss, Alabama, Vanderbilt

Missouri – Arkansas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma

Oklahoma – Texas, Ole Miss, Missouri

Ole Miss – Mississippi State, LSU, Oklahoma

South Carolina – Georgia, Kentucky, Florida

Tennessee – Alabama, Vanderbilt, Kentucky

Texas – Texas A&M, Arkansas, Oklahoma

Texas A&M – Texas, LSU, Missouri

Vanderbilt – Tennessee, Mississippi State, Auburn

The priorities in creating the schedules were protecting traditional rivalries, competitive fairness, rotational frequency and ensuring a home and away balance with a Power 4 non-conference opponent for the 2026 season.
The SEC plans to officially announce the Annual opponents on Tuesday.

LSU/Alabama was just good for the SEC. Always got a prime time slot. Huge mistake.

I hate to see it go, but they will still play some. The league office wants to get as many teams in playoff as possible. Guaranteeing a loss for one of these two every year does not help. It would have put Alabama playing Auburn, TN and LSU. That would be a tough three permanent teams schedule. They were not going to do that and risk Bama’s playoff chances every year.

Advertisers demand more viewers.
The networks want better games.
Universities need more money.
Players demand NIL.
It's reality.

LSU/Bama is one of the biggest games of the college football season every year. ESPN just left a lot of advertising dollars on the table.

We gonna end with Arkansas every year again?

From someone who lives in Alabama, there is a lot of folks here very glad that they won't be playing LSU every year. They understand their glory days are slipping away and they don't want the rivalry.

This is messed up! LSU gets only one SEC founding member on the annual schedule for the next 4 years!

LSU/Bama was America's crown jewel annual game. Now that honor will go to Ohio St/Michigan

This is about as bad as it could be. I cannot believe we won’t be playing Auburn, UF and Bama every year. The 2 games I least look forward to are Arky because they are rarely any good especially by the end of the season but they are always a threat to beat us regardless, and I am rarely excited to play aTm, for a variety of reasons- mainly for the same reasons I hate playing Arkie. Always tough games that could be upsets but never much of an upside to beating them.
