FootballScoop.com is reporting that LSU offensive line coach Jeff Grimes is expected to leave the staff to be the new offensive coordinator at BYU.
Grimes is expected to stay with LSU through the Tigers Bowl Game on Jan. 1, according to the report.
Grimes was an offensive line coach at BYU from 2004-2006.

Source tells FootballScoop Wednesday night LSU offensive line coach Jeff Grimes plans to accept the offensive coordinator job at BYU pending formal clearance which is expected in the next 24 hours.
Prior to joining the LSU staff for the 2014 season, Grimes previously coached offensive line at Virginia Tech, Auburn, Colorado, BYU, Arizona State, Boise State and Hardin-Simmons. This will be Grimes first time serving as offensive coordinator at the collegiate level.
Grimes was an offensive line coach at BYU from 2004-2006.
