Many believe that former LSU head coach Les Miles will be a candidate for the Purdue job after the Boilermakers decided to fire Darrell Hazell this past Sunday.

LSU quarterback Danny Etling, a transfer from Purdue who played under Hazell in 2013-14, says the Boilermakers would be lucky to have coach Miles if he does in fact land in West Lafayette. Per The Advocate:
quote:

Miles, who hasn’t spoken to local media since his firing Sept. 25, has said in national interviews he wants to coach again.

“Coach Miles is a great coach,” Etling said Monday. “Purdue would be lucky to have him.”

Etling said Purdue’s interim coach, former wide receivers coach Gerad Parker, is popular with his former Boilermakers teammates.
Purdue fired Hazell after going 9-33 in 3.5 seasons.

I cant wait for Les to get a new job and be exposed for the loser he really is. He stole from LSU, the fake offer from Michigan and Arkansas and his horrible coaching, game day management and lies about changing the offense. I truly can't wait for Les to show his true colors of failure at a school that doesn't draw the talent that LSU does.
