COLLEGE STATION, TX – Missed opportunities on offense and special teams, along with the change to dual-threat quarterback Marcel Reed, were the difference in No. 14 Texas A&M handing No. 8 LSU its second loss of the season on Saturday night in College Station, 38-23.

Redshirt sophomore receiver Aaron Anderson led the team in receiving with 126 yards and a touchdown on three catches. Junior receiver Kyren Lacy posted an impressive showing with 106 yards on five catches.

LSU will have a bye week next Saturday before returning to Tiger Stadium on Nov. 9 to host No. 15 Alabama. Kickoff, which has not been announced yet by the league office, is expected to be between 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. CT.

Enough talk about this great OL. Can’t even run the ball. One rushing play in the book? Up the middle all the time. This was a team loss for sure! Offense, Defense, Field Goal team and Coaching ALL stunk

You forgot to mention the QB with 3 INT’s
user avatar
OldMailman17 months
True, guess I just bunched him in with the Offense stinking. He’s lucky there wasn’t a few more Int’s!

The INTs were garbage, but when you are one dimensional, that's what happens. It is sad that this "elite" line cannot open a hole in the run game.

No run game, sub par qb play, defense can’t adjust. Lost all momentum after the qb switch. What the frick. Had me thinking we stood a chance against a dual threat milroe and Alabama before this game.

Nussmeier better figure it out and stop hurting the team with all of his interceptions and Baker better figure out out stop a duel threat QB that can actually throw the ball for the Alabama game.

Called it before the game. If A&M were to ever bench their QB that was going to be game for us. History of being shite vs a dual threat QB.

Vandy and Bama will destroy LSU defense with their QB play!

Yes... if nuss guarantees ANY offense starts at the 30, our Defense can't expect to do much.

We did pretty well against a dual threat QB last week. Just sayin.

This isn't Kelly's fault. We'd have won without the three interceptions.

Can't go far in the SEC with no running game. Clock doesn't run and you can't control the line or the tempo of the game. Especially when you need to possess the ball to keep a dangerous QB off the field.

24 whole yards rushing and 400 passing yds 3 int killed us. We need a gosh darn punter that can flip the damn field their average start was stupid!

LSU has one, Kelly elected to try FG's instead of pinning them deep.

Left 13 points on the field in the first half. 2 missed FGs and Chris Hilton jumping 5 seconds too early on what would have been a TD.

We played like crap. Had really bad OC calls and our QB was crap on a stick. We did not disserve to win

Do we have a 2nd string QB? He has to be better than nuss.. plus, can the coaches make some adjustments?

Bk said he had 3 ready to go at halftime, but also, BK is a stupid arse. I wish I could be this incompetent at my job.

Average team can’t afford to leave first half points on the field. Aggies were simply better. 12 men

Guess that 12th man made a difference.

Just blew a night game vs Bama. And why oh why does Kelly tell his defense with 35 minutes left we got this. Year 3 and still special teams screw ups. Year 3 and can’t run the ball. Brad Davis needs to go and will be the next scape goat for the yoga head coach.
