It’s not hindsight; football starts at the line of scrimmage and if you’re not at least competitive there nothing else matters….

“Alma matter”? I would call this out, but it actually checks out…I myself attended and did not graduate from LSU and Southern so I approve this message

The power slap contests make 0 sense to me…I know others may like it, just not for me

I’m squarely on the fence; no problem with him fighting Aspinal without HW UFC experience…but I do believe there is a difference in giving big shots and taking them. He can definitely throw with anyone, but can he take them? Whoever he fights it will be exciting, but UFC ain’t just striking…can he wrestle with the big boys? I have no idea, but I will certainly watch!

Personally I’d like to see him beat a top 10 Hw first before a title shot. It appears like his power will translate, but you gotta be able to take big shots too. I think he could hold his own but Alex VS say Vilkov or Almeida perhaps would be a good litmus test

Aspinal vs Pereria; I’d love to see it…what are the roadblocks? Alex have to get some HW skins on the wall first?

I like Jiri but he’s just not at Pereiras level… @Tigerfanatic99, who is next for him? Move to HW? We can argue about stuff, but we are all up on Tigerdroppings message board at midnight discussing UFC so we are all the same kind of crazy huh?

It’s not the most exciting way to fight but it’s Pereiras job to keep it standing huh?

You know when someone quits in a fight…has nothing to do with consciousness. Obviously if a fighter is unconscious the fight is over. Of course people quit in fights; BUT shouldn’t we expect professional fighters in prize fights (ie paid very well) to not quit when they are put in a bad position? Hell, we can all fight until it gets uncomfortable and stop, but it ain’t worth watching.

Well I must be a few minutes late on my online feed…I’ll take your word for it…good fight so far though

No, not at all, I hate when grappling is stopped because it’s “boring”; as long as a fighter is working to gain advantage and not just holding, I appreciate grappling; Emmett has been a really good fighter…but he made a “business decision” to tap when he got put in a bad position. And he can do that, but I don’t pay to watch people fight until they are uncomfortable. When you step in the UFC cage it should be all in. I saw a guy in the prelims actually run from his opponent. Really? As a competitor, in any competition, I think you owe your opponent your best. If they beat you, then shake their hand and say I gave you my best and you were better, not you got me in a tough spot so I quit, no honor in that but he’s got to live with that not me. Just my 2 cents and nobody cares what I think.

If your game is I’m gonna knock you out unless you take me down and make me uncomfortable so I quit then you don’t belong in the UFC. I don’t belong in the UFC because I’m not a professional fighter. Pro fighters should at least fight hard. All I want to see is a guy to give everything he’s got. Once you get to the point in your life where you aren’t willing to give everything, then UFC isn’t for you. It’s Dana, or the decision makers, to step in and say if you aren’t all in you’re out. Not personal, but I can watch people tap on arm bars in any small town in the US. I watch the UFC to see great athletes commit to their martial arts discipline with reckless abandon in a way that only passionate individuals can. AND, I’m on the couch for yelling at the TV when my old lady is trying to sleep, so who’s the idiot here? Yep, me.

But that was a battle huh? And I appreciate the ground game, but Josh Emmett taps when his arm is in a bad position? frick THAT bullshite
you step in the UFC octagon on a pay per view fight and quit? Get the frick out of here. Yes he would kick my arse in 30 seconds but I wouldn’t quit like that. fricking embarrassing.
It was a bit using chat gpt, he’s actually very humble guy
About time the north Baton Rouge farming community got its props but a whole month for that little town seems a bit flamboyant

Aggie pitcher Freshcorn had SEASON best innings pitched, strikeouts, walks (0), hits (0). He pitched vs Elon, Cal Poly, Texas Southern and Tarleton (what the hell is that?) This post season will be very short if this continues.

Aren’t all of the Aggies two hand finishers?
Angel is tall and tough, but she is not a talented basketball player. She’s 6’3 and misses layups like an 11 year old playing on a 10 ft goal for the first time.
Definitely 3 on the Mount Hushmore (i.e. STFU and GTFO) of former LSU athletes. Although Ben doesn’t say much, just as a person he warrants a throat punch.

JJ is a career 226 hitter in the SEC, if he can’t hit at this level in year 3 consistently, he never will. He’s our Pedro Cerrano
