Former LSU cornerback Bernard Causey signed with Georgia State over the weekend.

Causey redshirted as a true freshman this past season and did not see any game action.

The former three-star prospect from New Orleans was initially committed to Ole Miss in high school but flipped to LSU and signed with the Tigers 2024 class.

These kids don’t understand that it’s a process to grow. Most of them aren’t ready to play straight out of high school.

So he will probably go there and start. If he plays well there he can get back in the portal in a year or two and take the highest bidder. Sounds like a plan.

I don't know if it's as easy as he thinks to just walk in and start.

Why do I get the feeling if he were going to Bama you wouldn’t be as accommodating?

Because if he was going to Bama It would probably mean we are losing a starter. However since he’s going to a lower tiered school it makes sense that he wasn’t going to start here. Seems pretty simple
