After practice on Thursday, Brian Kelly was asked about Florida assistant coach Jabbar Juluke being suspended after he slapped LSU safety Joel Rogers during a pregame altercation last Saturday.

The SEC announced Tuesday that Juluke would be suspended for three games, and Kelly was asked if that was sufficient...
quote:

"Our commissioner has a better sense on issuing those penalties," Kelly responded ."For me, we just wanted to make sure that our player was safe and that he was okay. We wanted to make sure that was the priority on our end."

"And whatever happened, relative to suspensions or sanctions, that's out of our hands. We just wanted to take care of our player, and that's what we did this week."

Sounds like CBK is doing his best Marshawn Lynch "I'm just here so I don't get fined". When one talks about the Holy Commish of the SEC, they tend to get slapped down one way or another...unless you're Alabama. I don't blame CBK one bit for answering it that way. Sometimes you gotta go with political correctness.

What kind of trash University is Florida that they don’t fire Juluke? He is on camera slapping a player from another team. The SEC had to step in a give him a suspension. What about their own school?

Uh, what? Have you paid attention to UF since the mid 90s? That's like asking what's up with UGA players and felonious traffic violations and pretending it is new.

You people are clowns. CBK cannot say fire the guy or suspend the guy more. Ever heard of tortious interference with contract? You all can run your mouths, he can't. There are also contractual agreements between schools and the SEC that prevent this.

“We just wanted to make sure our player was safe and ok”. What kind of fukin pussy response is that.

Should he have come out with a machete, yelling like Maduro? Would that have satisfied you?

I bet CBK has won more NCAA football games than your favorite coach.
