I had hoped that LSU would have updated their roster by now.

but my suggestion would be to organize it based on who you think will start.
Ever since I contributed the 20016/2017 LSU roster mod for Cajunomics on the NCAA Football game (X360), I have always wanted to produce an objective, repeatable methodology.
My methodology begins with On3 industry ratings (previously 24/7 industry ratings) and is overruled by observation. Obviously, I cannot reflect my observations yet on incoming transfers and freshmen. However, you are actually seeing my observation-based Depth Chart in the returning players (or what’s left of them).
Furthermore, posting my predictions in the past has either been too similar to my typical Depth Charts or it has invited unpleasant discourse (as you might imagine).

Notes:
• Ht/Wt/Class info has not been update. I will updated it whenever LSU updates their official 2026 Roster.
• I have attempted to look up video and Game Notes for the schools of incoming transfers, so I can determine their positions more precisely (mainly for OL).
Order Philosophy:
• Incoming transfers are placed below returning players and above incoming freshmen.
• Then they are sorted according to On3 Industry ratings.
Once again, your corrections and updates are welcome.

I have not been able to update all the returning players yet, so their H/W, Class, and Experience data are not up to date.
I usually wait until LSU lists the their updated roster before I update it all. Right now they only list coaches on the 2026 Roster.

Here is an updated list of my LSU Depth Chart.
• H/W, Class, and Experience have not been updated for returning players.
• The WR is a mess, but I sorted them into positions by H/W.
• I heard that Dashawn Spears will be starting at Star (SAM), but I have listed him with the boundary Safties (Rover).
• With Harold Perkins moving on, the STAR position may be filled by more safety types than LB types, but I just need to see it first before I reflect those changes.
Order Philosophy:
• I begin with the most recent observations (the bowl game).
• Incoming transfers are listed below returning players.
• Incoming freshmen are listed below incoming transfers.
• Incoming players are listed according to On3 ratings.
ETA:
• QB Emile Picarella
• LG Hayes Fuqua
• CB Emari Peterson

Here is an updated look at the 2026 Depth Chart as of January 10th.
As in previous years, I am listing incoming transfers below returning players and higher than incoming freshman. Transfers' jersey numbers a listed from their previous teams.
Your corrections are welcome.

Below is a look at the LSU Depth Chart.
• The first image reflects the removal of players that have entered the portal or declared for the NFL draft.
• The second image shows those players still on the roster.
Notes:
• Yes, that portal icon is from the game, Portal.
• I have not updated Height, Weight, Class, or Experience for returning players.
• I also have not looked into the Offensive scheme and WR/TE position labels that the new staff uses.
• I'm sure there are several things I have overlooked, but this is the best I could do for now. I welcome your corrections.
• I switched from Flickr to imgur to share higher quality images.

LSU Depth Chart - Game 3 vs Florida [1 image]
Posted by Scotcho Libre on 9/10/25 at 9:24 am
Here are my observations from the LA Tech game.
This Depth Chart simply reflects my observations of who got the start and who came in afterwards. This is not a prediction of what we will see vs. Florida.
Again, I apologize that Flickr no longer allows me to post in full resolution.
Updates:
• I have added a section for Injury Report. This does not include Weston Davis or Jimari Butler, both of whom returned to the game vs. LA Tech. I am uncertain about Destyn Hill's status, though I presume he is out after requiring surgery.
• I have made a slight change to the CB position. LSU kept Mansoor Delane and Ashton Stamps on the far side of the field, while DJ Pickett remained closer to the LSU sideline throughout the game.
• I have listed PJ Woodland as the NICKEL after being corrected by others, who have better eyes than I did during the Clemson game.
• NT Sydir Mitchell has been removed from the Depth Chart. BK said "There are standards that needed to be met, and those standards weren't met."
• You will notice that Jardin Gilbert is listed ahead of Harold Perkins at the STAR position.
ETA: BK provided injury updates in his SEC Teleconference availability.
• Braelin Moore's status upgraded to "Probable." He practiced yesterday and will practice again today.
• Solomon Thomas is out of the boot and a few weeks from being in a position where he can take reps.

Are you saying Destyn Hill, Kyle Parker and Barion Brown are our top three receivers now?
No, I think I would agree with others here. I think they sent out their best run-blocking WRs first, and Destyn Hill is probably the strongest of all of them. But I don’t see DH as “the starter” over Zavion, for whom they have clearly designed a significant game plan.
I think Aaron Anderson is their #1 guy as evidenced by the fact that BK limited him in practice, which I take to imply that he is not in a competition (not even with Kyle Parker).
I do think Chris Hilton had a bad game (both physically and mentally), and Barion Brown may have beaten him out for now.

Yes, you can find him lead blocking (like a FB) for Zavion Thomas on one of his run plays.

While we can all agree with you, it’s worth noting that those first three WRs stayed in there for the first two drives, not merely the first two plays.

I have updated my roster based upon observations from the game.
• Jersey Numbers, Heights, and Weights have been updated.
• The observations were only helpful for discerning a 2-deep.
• There was no genuine injury report.
There were some additional surprises:
• All three WRs were a surprise.
• DJ Chester came in at LT briefly.
• Ju'Juan Johnson was RB2.
• PJ Woodland got the start over Ashton Stamps.
• The DEs were flip-flopped.
