Five-star defensive tackle Maason Smith from Houma, LA announced Wednesday afternoon that he is committing and signing with LSU.


Smith is the No. 1 overall player for the 2021 recruiting class, according to Rivals. He chose the Tigers over Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Miami.

Tigersquid89, I wish we could see you take over missing 41% of you roster from 2019 and have NINE new defensive starters while trying to install a new defensive scheme after NO SPRING PRACTICE & a very limited Fall Practice. It’s amazing how stupid some of you chronic bitchers really are.
