The LSU Tigers landed a big-time commitment from talented four-star running back Corey Kiner on Monday morning.

Kiner is the first commit for new LSU running back coach Kevin Faulk and the Tigers 10th verbal commit for the class of 2021.

The 5-10, 205-pound prospect from Cincinnati, Ohio (Roger Bacon HS) is rated the No. 7 running back in the country and the No. 7 overall player in the state of Ohio for 2021, according to Rivals.

Kiner gave his commitment to the Tigers over Cincinnati, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, and Texas A&M. He is LSU's 5th commitment in three weeks.

I bet by the 4th quarter, a lot of kids are thinking to themselves “F trying to tackle this dude” lol. Love how he celebrates too. Just like Barry Sanders, he acts like he’s been there. Hold that Tiger!

Wouldn’t be surprised if this guy is the #1 back on LSU’s board. He’s that good. Supposedly a high-character guy too.

I bet the other back that were after was 1st on board. He's a five star and number 1 back in the class. This guys the 10th ranked. Don't mean that's how coach o sees it, but it's pretty universally thought that wheaten is the best this year. This guy would Be a great compliment to wheaton who is a speed type back

I agree. The kid is built and runs similar to Edwards-Helaire. Great pickup Coach Faulk.
