Ed Orgeron and the LSU coaching staff received some great news on Thursday night when talented four-star linebacker Donte Starks committed to the Tigers.
Starks went public with his decision on Twitter Thursday night, choosing LSU over Auburn, Georgia, and Arkansas.
The 6-1, 225-pound prospect from Marrero, La. (John Ehret) is rated the No. 6 inside linebacker in the country and the No. 6 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2019.
Starks verbal pledge gives the Tigers 19 commitments for the class of 2019. He joins 4-star prospect Marcel Brooks and Zach Edwards, along with 3-star prospect Kendall Mccallum to round out LSU's linebacker class.
