Elite five-star cornerback and major LSU target Derek Stingley Jr. will be making his college announcement on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. CT.

The Baton Rouge native will be deciding between LSU, Florida, and Texas.

Stingley Jr, a 6-1, 195-pound prospect from The Dunham School was a one-time LSU commit but reopened his recruitment back in April of 2017. He was recently named the No. 1 prospect in the country for the class of 2019.

This looks like a top-tier young man. I sure hope to see him running out of that tunnel in Tiger Stadium on a cool, crisp night this fall. That is really the only place where all of his family and friends could watch him play in every one of his games.
