Losing Simon and Phillips to Texas are the biggest losses of need positions and you have to potentially play against them in conference. Obviously Underwood is #1 but you won't play him unless it's playoffs.

This class is just bad arse for LSU. What did we need more than anything, Defense of all positions and we got em. OL got them, and RBs and WRs got them. Don't get me wrong an elite QB would be nice to start up after Nuss is gone, but I am confident in the LSU QB 2nd year term being the Heisman/NC "swing for the fences" type of year for Nussmeier. However, he hasn't said for sure he is staying but it just makes good sense all around.
