The LSU coaching staff received a verbal commitment for three-star running back Chris Curry on Thursday evening.

The 5-11, 200-pound prospect from Lehigh Acres, FL (Lehigh Senior) was on LSU campus Thursday for the Tigers Elite Camp. He chose LSU over offers from Michigan, Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee, and others.

The Tigers now have 19 verbal commits for the class of 2018 with the addition of Curry.
