No, it means you actually correctly "predicted it". If you don't homer after predicting it, then your prediction was wrong.

Haters gonna hate. I used to do this in baseball all the time. Predicting a big hit isn’t that crazy or hard to do. It happens a lot. You just when you will get a big hit or do something big in a game.

My high school coach would've made me ran for an hour if I did that gesture before crossing home plate, then again my high school coach ruined baseball for me and made me lose my love for the sport.
