While LSU waits to play in the 'win or go home' Baton Rouge Regional Final against Little Rock, two freshmen from Jay Johnson's squad have elected to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
According to reports, the players departing the team are infielder David Hogg II from Mansfield, Texas, and first baseman Ryan Costello from Howell, New Jersey.
Hogg played in 12 games this season with just two at-bats, while Costello played in 15 games this season with eight at-bats. Neither player recorded a hit this season.
