Good strategy, IMO. Only use Skenes if you need him

Yall must be too young to remember 2009, Louis Coleman, the skenes of that team closed out the final game! This is setting up same way. Paul will end game with ball in hand....then TROPHY IN HAND!!!!

Keep in mind Thatcher pit he'd 65 pitches the same day as skenes, so he will definitely appear at some point

knock me over with a feather. I have been ranting about Skenes starting as a sure thing. I'm amazed.

Can't believe Skenes isn't pitching. This is what every male athlete dreams of. This would cement his legacy and make him a surefire #1 pick, in my opinion. I guess I'm just old school and look at this differently

It doesn't say Skenes isn't pitching. It simply says Hurd is starting. Look for Skenes out the Pen.

This game will not affect his draft stock unless he was injured. No where does it say he won’t pitch. Im sure you have thrown over 100 pitches then came back on 3 days rest to pitch again.

Opting out of bowl games has hit baseball.

Rooting for Hurd either way. True baller.

You must not follow baseball at all. This is absolutely not the same in any way and we don’t know that skenes won’t come in at some point. He has already proven he will step up on short rest when allowed. Dumb post
