Multiple sources are reporting that LSU Baseball player Drew Bianco has entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal. Per The Advocate:

Redshirt junior Drew Bianco has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to D1Baseball, making him the 10th LSU player to put his name in the database this summer.

Bianco, a utility option throughout his career, has one year of eligibility left as a result of the COVID-19 extension every player received during the 2020 season. Bianco appeared in 34 games this year as he battled hamstring and shoulder injuries.

Hope he gets to play for his dad and start on the route to a coaching career. He's more than paid his dues at LSU.

It may be good, overall, for the baseball program, but he was a great team player, I REALLY wish they had been able to get him in at every position on one night.

Let him go to Ole Miss and play for his dad his last year. He’s clearly not going to MLB so let him ride it out in the dugout with pops. Best of luck and happy to have had him.
