Another drafted LSU Baseball signee is headed to Baton Rouge.

Ashton Larson, an outfielder/first baseman from Overland Park, Kan., confirmed on Twitter Tuesday that he will be joining the Tigers instead of signing with the Minnesota Twins who selected him in the 20th round of the MLB Draft.

Larson joins signees Jake Brown and Cameron Johnson, who also announced they are forgoing the MLB to join LSU.

Marucci and other boosters must be taking care of these kids foregoing the draft. Makes it a much easier decision to come to LSU.

Happy the kid committed but he was drafted in the 20th round. Not like he’s giving up 1st round slot money or opportunities. Kid made a good choice to further develop.

No but in past years some players drafted in 20th would skip college. Now they can make money and travel 1 class instead of Buses in the minors.

Am I the only one who assumes that’s Ashton as a young tiger fan at the box?

For those that think every picture is current, maybe it's him 5 years ago at Alex Box. Kids grow a lot from 13 to 18. Ever thought about that? Too much thinking to do?
