Former USF right-handed pitcher Chandler Dorsey announced his commitment to LSU out of the transfer portal on Monday.
Dorsey, a sophomore from Lakeland, Fla., posted a 3.42 ERA in 26.1 IP this season as a reliever for the Bulls. Here's his bio over the last two seasons, per USF:

2024: Led the pitching staff with 26 relief appearances as the team’s primary closer…went 2-1 with eight saves, a 3.60 ERA (12 ER/30.0 IP), a 1.20 WHIP and 40 strikeouts…held opposing batters to a .180 average…earned his first career save at UCF (3/2)…struck out a career-high five batters over 2.0 IP in a save vs. UNC Greensboro (3/16)…logged a career-high 3.1 IP and earned the win at Tulane (4/14)…did not allow an earned run in 18 of his appearances, including six straight to close out the season.
2023: Ranked third on the team with 22 appearances as a true freshman…went 2-3 with a 7.40 ERA (17 ER/20.2 IP)…struck out 30 batters…struck out a season-best three batters five times, including his debut against No. 13 Maryland (2/18)…earned his first collegiate win in USF’s comeback win at No. 7 Florida (2/22)…allowed only one earned run over his final five appearances of the season (6.1 IP)…made 11 total appearances without allowing an earned run.
