Being offended is a choice. Most somehow don’t understand this. Weak.

Nothing he said required an apology for.

I read what he said, and wondered what part is offensive or untrue.

Phil gets a bad rep as being not genuine or putting on a show but I can tell you that’s not true at all. He’s got his vices like we all do. It’s no secret he loves to gamble and talk shite but so did Michael Jordan. At the end of the day Phil is good for the game of golf and I’ve been at tournaments and seen him time and time again autograph every single person that came to him. No other player on tour would even think of doing this. He’s well known to give his golf glove with a few Benjamins tucked inside to a fan when he hits them with a ball on one of his shots in the gallery. Golf is way better with Phil in it, here’s hoping he comes back soon.

His remarks aren’t the issue. It’s the novel length apology that I take issue with.

"Controversial" almost always means someone, usually on the left, got their panties in a bunch. Controversial in no way means "not true."

Who from the left would get their panties in a bunch over Lefty's comment? Or did you not actually read what he said?

The PGA and sponsors. This is a business issue more than hurt feelings

Those sponsors and PGA Europe do business with the countries that Phil is held to some higher standard.

What change does golf need? Other than making it less boring? Don’t @ me about not liking golf, I’m a 7 handicap

Is it just me or does anyone else see that older guys like Phil games can't stand up to the young lions coming up and they have to use different strategies to maintain their brand? Step away live it up make a comeback make millions. What a country.
