I love the free-market...but it seems we've got a serious Priorities problem.

Is Tiger really one of their top players?

Not score-wise, but for viewership and revenue - yes indeed.

I can't believe how many fanboys here still polish Tiger's knob. He's a has been and is never coming back.

Using "has been" pretty loosely there. He's one of the top ten golfers of all time. He draws crowds, which is why they're paying him. Even if he's not in contention at the Masters, the herd still follows him.

How can they pay a cripple that kind of money and not expect people to just walk away from the PGA?

$100 million to limp around one non PGA sanctioned event?

Are they not offering Scheffler anything?

I wonder if the people who gave money were told about this. I get giving tw some money but this much is nuts. The dude ain't that much of a draw anymore.

Dude isn't going to be in the thick of it on the final day on the regular anymore.

Can't keep up w the Saudis, period. Oil keeps flowing, fundraising will not.

Tiger could “join LIV” just to spite the PGA and completely kill it. The PGA is paying him just to keep his endorsement.
