I was once playing Braithwaite and hit the ball on the downside of a canal (but dry). As I was getting ready to hit me ball, my friend said, "Don't ask any questions, just get in the cart NOW!" I ran up the embankment and just as I got to the top, a 12+ foot alligator got out of the water and scampered right up to my ball. My friend let me drop one in the rough.
