I remember Snake Stabler talking about how Biletnikoff would get so tensed up he would be throwing up in the locker room. But Stabler said Biletnikoff would walk to the end of the tunnel and take one last drag off his cigarette before running onto the field.

I grew up near Tulane stadium in the seventies and the Steelers were in town practicing for the Super Bowl. Lynn Swann was smoking on the sideline. Of course, it was a free country back then.
