I used to work summers on an offshore drilling rig while in high school. It gets really hot on that deck, gotta be 120 - 130 degrees.
The blue green water 40 ft below always looked so inviting. So my crew thought on our last hitch of the summer on crew change day we'd jump off the rig and into that lovely coolness, hadn't seen any sharks for almost 2 weeks.
The morning about an hour before jump off, two 12' hammerheads swam right under our jumping off point. Doh!
