A surfer in Australia was attacked by a great white shark while out in the water on Tuesday morning, tragically, his injuries were so bad, he died at the scene...

“Vicious?” It’s food source is currently schooling/migrating along the beach. I’d say “natural” and “expected” are better descriptives of the incident.

“Attacked just before lunch time” I found the problem. Sharks hunt in shallows, shark attacks happen in the shallows. It’s no different than catching redfish and specs on a grass flat. Shallows provide protection for baitfish.
