The University of Arkansas said Tuesday that it was investigating an “incident” involving Razorback football players over the weekend.

In a written statement, the school said the players attended “an event” along with other students and that university police and the school’s Office of Student Standards and Conduct are looking into what happened. The university declined to comment further.

A source with knowledge of the incident told KATV that at least one Arkansas football player attacked a student at the Kappa Alpha fraternity house on campus. A larger fight broke out and as many as six students were injured, according to the source. One of the students was reportedly hospitalized.
