Arkansas' AD Tweeted Out The School Is Enforcing NIL Buyouts For Players That Transfer

I am no longer interested in college sports. 2019 was glorious. Long live the GOATs.

college sports as we knew it only a few years ago is DEAD.

Need a minor league system then they can get drafted and get salary capped and developed for the nfl. If they want to use colleges then they can’t leave until 3 years or draft eligible. Junior or redshirt sophomore.

I'm so tired of hearing about the poor players who weren't paid for years. They got free tuition, free room, free food that was the best on campus, free tutoring, free everything else, and the chance to graduate and get a multi-million dollar contract straight out of school.

This shite is the ruination of college sports

Something has to be done to calm down the wild wild west. If these players can cross the street for a quarter without ramifications, they absolutely will. No one can blame them for doing it, because they CAN.

If you want to be a professional and get paid professional money, then you need to be prepared to act like a professional.

Stop referring to them as “kids” or “students.” These are professional athletes and they must abide by their contracts or face the consequences.

I would like some more info on NIL spending rankings among men’s “college” sports. How far off is Baseball from Football and how far off is Soccer.

I don’t see the appeal in what has become minor league sports anymore. Pining for the BCS say it ain’t so.

All these thoughts in the comments miss the bigger point. NCAA had lawyers fighting this for 25 years minimum. The fact that the higher education centers can't come up with a system that works for everyone involved insane. They had a chance to do the right thing. The people making money off football since its inception were not interested in paying players. Now the players get a piece, and no one has any idea how to make it work for everyone. Sounds batshit crazy if you ask me.

Let it burn completely down to the ground I don’t care anymore. These entitled athletes need to start earning their keep the old fashioned way.
