Saban needs to back off of the tanning gel. It’s infecting his brain.

did he get an offer

I hate Saban, but I’d much rather a coach tell me that than blow smoke up my arse.

I don't understand this, then why would he even be invited for an Alabama visit?

Which tells you Shanahan has this whole Coaching thing by the short ones. That running game is timeless.
He's taken his dad's work and tinkered/adjusted to fit the times.

Saleh is gonna work out in NY

Shanahan had the Texans rolling with Matt Schaub as the QB, his offense runs like a well oiled machine. I'm not sure he gets the credit he deserves, but he is young, his time is coming.

Saban's smart. He was trying to devalue the asset before acquisition, therefore maximizing returns. Plus, they only had so many Dodge Chargers to give out.

Saban offered him a scholarship

This sounds like BS. I can’t see Saban saying any of this. If he felt that way he would just not even talk to him.

Usually how things happened and how we remember them are different. And the more time that passes...the differenter they get.

Young men need to be told this. They don’t need everyone telling them how great the are all the time. I think this was actually a positive for him if he is still talking about it. It must have given him a chip on his shoulder.

Diminutive former Miami Dolphins head coach was short sighted.

Height is the only thing that can’t be fixed. Arm strength and accuracy can be developed by a good coach

Les Miles told Dak Prescott he was being recruited as an athlete not as a QB. Do you still miss Les?

Les was right. Dak blows.

LOL! Dak is the luckiest SOB in the world. Jerry is senile. He's too addle-brained to recognize that Dak is not an asset to The Cowboys, and too stupid to realize that 2016 was a terrible year for draft QB's. Dak is the only QB drafted that year still with the team that drafted them. Jared Goff at Detroit (drafted by the Rams) is far and away superior to Dak. Hell, Jacoby Brissett may be better than Dak.

Dak had first bad season in the nfl. LSU was playing J Lee and Jordan Jefferson at QB instead of Dak. Les was not right no matter how trendy you are trying to be now.

All you have to do is look at the last weekends game to see how inexact a science recruiting QB's out of high school is. Only Lawrence was a 5 star. Mahomes, Hurts and Burrow were 4 star power 5 recruits, but certainly not wanted by everyone (Hurts wasn't the highest rated QB on Bama's roster). Dak, Jones, Allen and Purdy were much lower recruits, recruited by lower level or non power 5 schools

Qb development and self esteem are never mentioned in the same sentence with saban. Too many qbs have gone down that road i.e. Blake Barnett & Jalen, etc

I bet the full accurate quote was something more like “you don’t have all measurables that NFL scouts look for so come to Bama and be surrounded by NFL talent that will make you look good”.

Saban wasn’t wrong, but I’d take Purdy over Prescott.

Looked more than average accuracy last night. He was on point. What can't be measured is will and that's what Purdy has. It's what made Brady who he is also.
