All these unknowns are what's exciting to me. Just sit back and enjoy the ride for Christ sake

One of the things I have heard is that it did appear he was very scared to get hit at Louisville ans was very overly cautious at times.

Multiple broken bones can do that. Once he gets comfortable again it'll be fine
quote:

62.7% comp is not accurate. He was 10th in the ACC

Josh Allen was a 56% passer in college. Not saying he's Josh Allen but let's not act like that can't be improved on.
quote:

8% of his passes were throwaways, most in the draft

He also only had 6 ints. Maybe there's a reason that is???
quote:

People say don’t worry about the injuries, but one could surmise he’s scared to get hit

He gets injured running but he's scared to run?? As I said, one was just an injury that wasn't cared for properly getting injured again (collarbone) and the other injury was the result of a hip-drop tackle, which we all know has been banned from the NFL because of how dangerous it is for players.
quote:

We are told not to worry about his injuries, but his injuries in college were when he was running with the ball, far as I can find.

Running with the ball is usually when players get hurt, of course qbs get sacked also.
quote:

Don’t think that’s it. We can all hope for the best with Shough. Just don’t ignore what’s right in front of ya, don’t overthink this one

No, but I have this in front of me and I would rather look for why I should be supporting this player. Louis Riddick and other analyst I have a semi-respect for are telling us this guy may be the best thrower in the draft, not my words. I don't give a crap about what happened in college anymore, just like I didn't care that I used to hate Winston before he came here. Once he is in Black and Gold, I am all in until shown a reason to doubt.
quote:

Except availability and accuracy

He's plenty accurate. Do you even know his circumstances? He missed the Covid year, one of the injured years he broke his collar bone. They let it heal naturally instead of actually repairing it so when he was supposedly good to go it broke again. That's when they actually went in and surgically repaired it. So that's two years with the same injury because it should have been taken care of by doctors better and one Covid year. Can we stop acting like he's made of glass? Y'all are red assed and don't even know what's really going on.
Louis Riddick said he's going to surprise the NFL this year and throw for throw his arm talent is as good as anyone in this draft.
quote:

Well with no historical record of head coach Kellen Moores draft philosophy I guess that's as good a guess as any.

You can see where he came from. Philly is all about building from the trenches out so a lineman wouldn't surprise me at all.

6th or 7th round lottery ticket why not

deserves

Deserves means you have earned something. He didn't earn a damn thing except a winless record.
I'd go McCord then Ewers. Not really interested in the rest. I think Moore can fix what's wrong with those two.
Firstly, I said the Ingram roll, which is not the #1 RB. He can catch, has some of the best contact balance I've seen in a while, and is a monster to try to tackle. How can those not be good? I would take him right now over any RB we've had on our roster in the last few years not named Kamara. Especially if you're talking mid rounds pick.
I don't care what anyone says, give me Skattebo. He can definitely fill the Ingram type roll.

re: Cooper Kupp

Posted by BRL79 on 3/14/25 at 1:24 pm
No. Over their career Kupp has averaged 74 yards per game to Allen's 73, and Kupp has averaged .56 tds per game to Allen's .44 tds per game. How is Allen better?

The knock is the overconfidence, but I like a confident QB

You want a confident QB, but not over confident. Over confidence often leads to being hard to coach.
I can't wait to come back and read all the genius GMs on here that just never got a shot to show how talented they are at NFL team building. I'll await the enlightenment.
I don't know if he's a Barkley, but really if we can get a Mark Ingram out of him count me in
What the f**k are you smoking? Both are much worse than Carr.

He won a SB in his 1st year in Tampa, with Tony Dungy's team

The team Dungy couldn't win one with?

think people are saying that a 5th round rookie QB can be fairly evaluated in year 1 especially when he doesn’t have a legitimate NFL WR corps.

They are saying don’t judge yet…not proclaiming Rattler will be a quality starter.

bullshite. Tons of people on here saying get rid of Carr because Rattler is the answer.
