Nick Saban announced this week that Alabama defensive back Tony Mitchell is suspended indefinitely after he was arrested in Florida last week for drug possession.

During his announcement, Saban said that "everybody's got an opportunity to make choices and decisions. There's no such thing as being in the wrong place at the wrong time," which many believe is about what Alabama basketball coach Nate Oats said regarding Brandon Miller.

Hint: if you're a basketball star don't count on the football coach to save you.

It's funny that hypocrite Saban didn't seem to have such strong feelings about Cam Robinson.

So what exactly prevented Jermaine Burton from receiving punishment when he punched a girl in the face?

Saban is a hypocrite.

It's offseason. During the season, he doesn't suspend players. The biggest myth in sports is that Saban is some master disciplinarian. What exactly happened to his WR for clubbing a girl in the face for no reason?

Saban is so full of shite. This dude has let more players play that were busted with weeds, guns, etc....than any other coach out there.

Glass houses though if I'm being honest. Saban hasn't always been consistent with how he treats starters who get into trouble vs. backups.
