Nick Saban Shares The One Thing Tua Tagovailoa Needs To Learn In The NFL
© USA TODAY Sports
Now that Tua Tagovailoa is a Miami Dolphin, Alabama Nick Saban revealed the one thing he needs to work on as his NFL career begins. Per Miami Herald...
quote:

“No. 1 thing we’ve tried to convince him of here is he’s got to learn self-preservation is part of the job,” Saban said, via the Miami Herald. “Tua’s a great competitor. You don’t want to take his competitive spirit away. He’s always trying to make a play, even when the play breaks down. And that’s good. He does it well. He’s made a ton of plays in those circumstances. But I still think there are times when there’s just nothing here. Several times when he got hurt here, I felt like there’s no reason for him to even get hit.”

Saban deflecting his lack of concern for players' health while they were at Alabama.

It would be nice if Larry, on a LSU website, could stop with ALL of the Saban and Bama crap! If you love them so much Larry, go post stupid, illiterate things on their site.

Recruits....take note of this. Now that Saban has used him up and spit him out, he all of a sudden cares about Tua’s health. Funny how Saban wasn’t concerned about Tua coming back early from ankle surgery to get his arse kicked by LSU. Then...turns around and plays him the week after against Mississippi State. Tua didn’t have to play against MSU at all for Alabama to beat them. Saban selfishly played Tua with the intent of running up the score to have a better resume to back into the playoffs

They needed style points to stay in the convo vs MS State. Why else would Tua still be in the game after he hobbled off the field vs LSU and up 35 on MS St.

Uh, Tua needs to learn to make better business decisions.

Saban encourages the kid to get back on the field ASAP after two ankles surgeries, now he wants to talk about self preservation. What a crock!

Guy keeps blaming his players for his dumb coaching mistake. Taking kids out the game equals preservation

Like leaving him in a game that is 35-0 with about a minute until half..... that kind of self preservation......
