John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
Former Alabama quarterback Jake Coker spoke with media following the Crimson Tide's annual pro day event and said that he was pissed off by not being invited to the NFL Combine, which took place last week.

Coker passed for 3,110 yards, 21 touchdowns and eight interceptions for Alabama last season.

The NFL has learnt the hard way about Saban QB. They are like most other players on the, they are surrounded by talent that makes them look good but when you separate them they look suck.

Coker has a long release, sluggish footwork, no pocket awareness, and his reads are EXTREMELY slow...pro scouts don't give a shite how many games your team won, if you have the aforementioned traits...no combine for you.

There may be a lot of adjectives to describe Jake Coker but trash isn't one of them.

"He was the QB for the national champs. He should have been invited on that alone." That's irrelevant to the NFL teams.

It's really odd that Blake Sims got invited but Coker didn't. Coker had a higher completion percentage on more attempts with fewer interceptions. He also didn't lose any game he started, and almost came off the bench to win the one game Alabama lost.

He threw two picks against Ole Miss. Two crucial ones at that. While Alabama nearly came back and won, we could also argue he was one of the reasons they lost. For the record, I think he should have been invited with his tools and potential.
