Former Alabama QB AJ McCarron didn’t hold back while on “The Dynasty” when sharing his thoughts on the loss to Florida State...
quote:

“There’s just no – there’s no excitement,” McCarron said, via 247Sports. “It was weird. I just didn’t understand it, when Bama scored. It was a quick excitement, but it was just dead. It wasn’t like, hey, we’re going out and we’re proving something right here. It was, ‘Hey, kickoff team and defense.’ There was just no excitement. It was such a weird, weird vibe.”

“You look at these other teams that have $40-50 million in NIL,” McCarron said. “Alabama – and I know this for a fact, talking to multiple people in the program – has less than $20 million in their NIL.”

You know that someone doesn’t know shite when they start blaming things like “no excitement”, or “no swagger”, or “not having fun” as the reasons for a team losing.

What they're experiencing is a side affect of long term success

They need to hurt to be able to appreciate or have that "feeling" like he's talking about

Well, the season just started, how much should you have in your NIL? Maybe you didn't pay enough before the season.

Money doesn't buy culture or excitement... not sure of his point... But it's really hard to remain the top dog in College football ...16 year run was amazing... and now it's seemingly over... Dabore is 5-5 in his last 10 games... losing 5 games at bama is like 3 seasons maybe 4

There was a lot of lack of effort. Players taking plays off and getting pushed around.

He’s right.

Excuses - they’re spoiled and it’s being exposed
