Sometimes you just have to improvise. Right, Lolo?....
quote:
Since March, I’ve been completely banned from the Olympic Training Center, including the gym, sports medicine, rehab, and the bobsled push track.
In February, right before World Championships, I was injured during a trip in the new USA Bobsled while testing team sleds in training.
The trip was so severe I lost full bladder control.
MRIs later revealed a herniated disc, disc bulge, and multiple tears in my back.
I was in tremendous pain.
Then my medical appointment was canceled without warning by the USOPC.
No explanation. No treatment. No access to rehab.
I asked why I wasn’t being treated. I was in pain, frustrated, and confused.
Instead of care, I was punished for voicing that frustration.
Today, my Team USA bobsled teammates are at training camp.
They’re pushing sleds on ice, getting timed, getting support.
I’m in Louisiana pushing a car to stay ready for Olympic Trials.
This isn’t a doping ban.
I have zero drug violations.
This is about the USOPC restricting access to an athlete who asked why her medical care was suddenly cut off.
I’ve represented Team USA for over 20 years.
And I’m still pushing. Still preparing. Still here.
They can ban me from a building,
but they can’t take away my fight.
Full story is in my bio.
I’m training right now and can’t respond to every comment or question, but thank you for the support.
