Shaw could possibly start this week for the Browns

quote:

According to multiple reports, including the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot and Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports, Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer suffered a right shoulder injury in last weekend's game against the Carolina Panthers. Johnny Manziel also suffered a pulled hamstring in the game.

Would love to see him get a shot.

So glad to hear this...would LOVE to see Shaw do his thing again. Hoyer and Manziel should both be concerned about their spots. Shaw comin'!!!!

Well Manziel is out for sure with the hamstring injury and apparently the Brown's contacted Rex Grossman and he declined.

Also, here's what Shaw did in his lone preseason appearance: LINK

Hoyer was moved up Probable this evening. Shaw will most likely dress and back him up for the game. He could still very well play, Hoyer won't be 100% for that game and the Ravens defense can get after the QB's.

What is a good site to watch NFL games on? I don't think the NFL app I have recognizes my cable provider.

I can think of other defenses I'd rather see him get his first start against, other than the Ravens.

I sure hope he gets some playing-time though. The kid is fearless.

It is time, my brothers and sisters. The Browns' savior has been called upon to fulfill his destiny.

Bless you all. Our Shaw is an awesome Shaw.

As excited as I am to see him possibly play, it could be very rough for him. The Ravens are fighting for a playoff spot at home when the Browns have probably mostly given up and the OLine seriously regressing lately. Hopefully his first NFL start (if he does start) is better than his first one in college against ECU.

Good find. I enjoyed the video. Sounds like he's pretty confident at least. Really hope Hoyer isn't ready to go.

His first college start if I recall started off pretty well until he fumbled inside the 20. It's been a while so I could be fabricating things a little bit.

Eh, it was bad enough we started chanting "Garcia!" and held our 5 fingers up

After looking at the box score Shaw was 3/9 for 21 yds and the fumble. He rushed for 26 yards. I'm glad I checked because I thought he had 2 fumbles in that 1st quarter but Lattimore actually fumbled the 2nd time.

How accurate is that? DirecTV still showing the Chargers/Chiefs game on their online guide.

He threw a bomb on his first pass attempt that was beautiful but Jason Barnes dropped it
