Saw this coming. Bussey committing pretty much sealed it.

We're gonna land Bryce Love imo. AK/Bussey/Love is a hell of a haul.

This is how you get 35 commits, butch says get out of here 3 stars you've been replaced. Whittle it down to only 32. The pre process. If butch can successfully do that every recruiting season you guys will be golden. I just find it odd that recruits keep committing knowing what has happened so many before them.

Yes I am jelly that the recruits dont see this game .

Most of these recruits have egos and are treated like rock stars. They see it happen, but never think it could be them.

That is exactly right. Processing players sure hasn't hurt Saban. The reason is that the egos stay the same, year after year.

Yep, and it's not like we're saying git. We just start "showing less love"

True but Saban has the championship rings to flaunt, so he can say hell we've won champs without you kid next up in the espn top 100. But you all make valid points. They don't think it will be them. Rock star mentality. And hell if it works it works.

Or possibly no love. Whatever gets the point across, with the crux that you don't want them so offended that it makes news. a la the Virgil recruit state tried to grey shirt after telling him he would early enroll. That was some hella bad recruiting press in a Texas hotbed for recruiting.

Exactly. They feel like they're not getting enough attention, so they start to talk to programs that are feeding that ego again. All this without having to tell them, " You should start feeling out your options with different programs."

Love will likely come down to Stanford or Tennessee. Close call as Love is a 4.5 gpa student taking advanced placement courses. Kid also ran "4.30" electronic SPARQ 40 yard dash and displays it on the field. Lots of big plays.

He decommited last week, how is this just now news? There was an article in the local paper about it. I posted it in the Flip Watch thread on here.

I've seen a dozen or so of Rocky's/Concord's games the past 3 seasons. He's a hell of a RB and some team is going to be lucky to have him.

There was smoke about this last week but Reid said he didn't decommit.

He officially decommited yesterday.

I think he's very underrated and I would've liked to have kept him. I just think Bryce Love is a much better fit for Tennessee's offense.

Love is straight line speed faster than Rocky, but Rocky is MUCH more durable and harder to bring down. Rocky is that guy who's going to pick you up 2 yards after contact consistently and he almost always falls forward. It was extremely rare to see anyone blow him back in HS, but that will change in college. I was hoping SC would've offered him, but he came to our camp and left without an offer...I wish we would've offered.

I'll agree with that. It seems like with Hurd already on campus and Kamara/Bussey committed, Butch would rather have the versatile RB with home run speed that can line up all over the place. Love's top end speed could be very useful when a team is getting tired of tackling Hurd and Kamara all game long.

I havent seen the fan base as split over a recruit as they have been with Reid. It's going to be really interesting to see if he pans out and Butch regrets kicking him to the curb. I hope he doesn't go to Georgia.
