I just got a text from one of my friends. It's 10:30 here and he's about to bang another one of the broads he's met from this website.

He swears by it.

Says that 80% of the chicks he meets are DTF.

Discuss.

Disclaimer, he ain't banging hot chicks. I've met a couple of them.

Maybe they all think it's "safe" since it's a "Christian" dating site. Fwiw, the biggest sloots I've ever known hit the church doors every time they were open, and were usually Baptists or Pentacostals.

One of the main reasons I left the Baptist church - the hypocrisy. I'd see girls acting so holy on Sunday mornings, and I'd seen them blowing their boyfriends the nigh before in McDonald's parking lot. There's not a big enough casty.

That, and when the minister told us one Sunday how we all should vote in an upcoming election. That crossed a line for me.

Here's the thing. Christians are people, just like everybody else. They have premarital sex, often with numerous people. I sin, and I know this about myself. I'm just not a hypocrite about it. I also try not to be judgmental.

If your friend is having fun, good for him. I just hope he's not using that site solely to get laid.

Lol, ME TOO!!! I was raised Baptist from an infant, then thank goodness my family left & joined the Presbyterian church when I was a teenager. Just could not stomach the hypocrisy anymore, nor the minister's hypocrisy when it became public knowledge that he had been having an affair with the secretary of our county's Southern Baptist Association for years, all the while judging others.

Did this minister have a daughter that graduated from CHS in '89?

This. But I have no interest in attending Church the rest of my life and going through a charade I hate. Women like this revel in it. I dated a gorgeous one for like two year. The sex has never been rivaled before or after, but that doesn't make up for the constant religious psycho-babble.

O yes. And their nothing wrong with a girl sucking off a guy in a parking lot... just the charade about doing it while lambasting other for it and using what you think is the only savior of man kind as justification. The hypocrisy is infuriating and obnoxious.

I go to church semi-regularly (used to go a lot more before having to work nights).

Yeah, there are hypocrites--in EVERY denomination of church. I've gone to more types of churches than you can shake a stick at from moving around so much. But there are good people there, too. The types that are judgmental and hypocrites would act the same in any other setting, they just happen to use religion as something to hide behind while they look down on others.

I call people out on that shite, and usually have frequent backup, too. Other than that, I ignore the crazies and focus on what I'm in God's house for in the first place.

That's a great way to do it, but the whole charade of meeting at a church, and participating in the social self righteousness(like Breakaway) always rubbed me all kinds of the wrong way. I don't need to even deal with those people to make my peace with God. They aren't ever going to be a factor in my search for purpose and fulfillment in the short time I have.

I understand where you're coming from, but for many it's not a charade.

I loved Breakaway, actually. It wasn't about social self righteousness for me though.
