before we handed off to the gen x y and zed who ruined the country

Gen X will turn out to be the greatest generation this country has ever had.
She had some nice tig ole bitties, though

There will be no improvements except local government officials and employees getting substantial pay raises.

Hate to burst your conspiracy bubble, but Mississippi county supervisor salary is set by the state. Not themselves. It's nothing like you think it is. I know in my county, they make $47,000 a year
quote:

Each data center has what, 3 employees?

Incorrect. Typically 500 MW data center will have about 200 - 250 permanent employees. The jobs aren't the issue. It's the massive revenue it brings in to communities via fee-in-lieu of tax agreements. Lot of revenue without having to build lots of new infrastructure, roads, traffic, or stress schools
quote:

Guess what? I've got a fever, and the only prescription... is more paragraphs"

I can understand that Oklahoma education challenging you to read a long paragraph. Just psss it up. It's over your head, anyway
"Governments" aren't giving away any more to data center developers than they give to any other company that brings jobs and investment to a community. Mississippi state law allows for up to a 66% reduction of ad valorem taxes for 10 years, for any economic development project with an investment exceeding $60 MM. the 33% of taxes they're left paying is still waaaayyyyyy more money for a community than they'd ever get for it being raw land or a smaller development that doesn't exceed the $60 MM threshold. A typical $10 B data center is gonna bring in about $150 MM PER YEAR to a community, to be split between the school district, the county, and a municipaly (if it's located within one). Ignorant people don't realize that the data center is going to go somewhere. And if they choose to reject it being built in their community, that doesn't mean that project won't be built somewhere else. People are turning away life changing revenue that could vastly improve rotting communities that have no other sources of revenue. And they use less water than a golf course uses. The myth about how much water they use is a Facebook propaganda myth. Put um in remote areas away from neighborhoods and let the revenue flow to your community. Think 24/7 365 fire academy trained fire departments in rural areas that now have volunteer fire departments. That could lower your home owners insurance by 45-50%. Think asphalt smooth roads in areas now that can only afford rock and tar roads. Think nice parks and ball fields. Think senior services like senior daycare and transportation. Think about your community having the revenue to give a college scholarship to every graduating student that wants to go to college.
i do work for two very large trucking companies. this is BS. trucking companies make MORE money when diesel is high. They don't care if it's high or low. They make more margin when it's high. It's your farmers and loggers and regular Joe's with diesel trucks that suffer from high diesel prices. The prices for their products is fixed, and they can't charge more to make up the high diesel costs. But, trucking companies. nah, they couldn't give less of a rip what the price of diesel is. they get theirs, regardless
sounds like what Joe Moorhead used to say when he was at MSU and didn't have a clue

Wishful thinking on your part i get it. Ole Miss has played 3 of 4 good football teams, probably the most difficult schedule in country at this point and is 3-1. Not bad at all! Ole Miss defense was bad at start of season last year also and had one game the other team didn’t punt. It was bad. Gonna be an impressive turnaround. I don’t see Missouri or State winning in Oxford this year. State better worry about the next 4 games. Good possibility yall lose 3 of next 4

ironic. this entire comment is wishcasting. time will tell the story
is craver hurt? he was all-world last year, and is middling this year. hated to lose him at State

Ole Miss being in the top 10 after being dog walked by Florida is blasphemy

Missouri will take care of that in 2 weeks. They may run for 300 on them and Simmons and Lee will look to make them look bad

Love it! That was an outlier game for ole Miss yesterday and not indicative of what’s coming.

it's very indicative of what's coming. you can't stop the run. at all. you'll lose to Texas, UGA, Missouri is a great running team and will gash you for 300 yards rushing, Cayden Lee and Simmons will look to embarrass you, and the Egg Bowl will be a toss up
what's he gonna say? he thinks oil companies control the price. there hasn't been a refinery built in the US in more than 50 years. there's your problem.

You need this to be true. But the real reason we have been fricking your arse non stop for 6 years is because we have more money than you.

i guess time will tell, won't it
quote:

How many has lane won?
Lane is hugh Freeze 2.0

Freeze got hired away from you by LSU? Funny, I thought he got fired for buying hookers and lying about it

I think reality will settle in with you around the first of November that Lane was, indeed, the reason y'all had 6 good years
this year has a very Joe Moorhead feel for OM. Mullen left Moorhead a top 10 talent team in 2018, and he limped to a 8-4 record. Had Jeff Simmons (Titans), Montez Sweat (Redskins), Jaden Crumedy (Texans), Erroll Thompson (Falcons), Jonathan Abram (Raiders), Cam Danzler (Vikings), Gerri Green (Bears), Willie Gay (Chiefs), and Nathaniel Watson (Browns) on that defense
quote:

There are Ole Miss fans who legitimately think he’s a better head coach than Lane

didn't you hear? he won 2 playoff games. that makes him exponentially better than Kiffin /S
quote:

Sure feels like he’s the next year QB of either LSU/Texas/Miami

nah, that's just gas

Is MSU's booster money that strong? I honestly don't know.

Jeff Simmons is paying his NIL. They are both from Macon, MS. KT's cousin is on the roster, and his little brother is committed for next year. Troll elsewhere
