We do not have an all-SEC RB. Crowell might become that but the others couldn't start for any other team in the SEC. They all look slow and have no vision of holes. The O-Line last year was huge and dismal at run-blocking. It appeared that they just didn't practice running the ball and spent all their time on developing tricks and motions! Grub was a huge disappointment last year. Guess there was a reason he was fired at Seattle and they won it all the next year. Have to think about that one.
Life-long Bama fan and I see the Bill Curry mentality coming back into play. We have become a finesse team with motion and tricks. Go back and look at the Bama teams from 2009-2015. They were monsters! We have become an upper middle of the SEC group team now going forward. 9-3 10-2 team going forward.

Just shows she was on her way out and didn't care. Her and Byrnes might have been at each other and that was her way of sticking it to him. Hope the new coach can recruit. At the end of the day the best players win the most games.

Only so much money and Womens BB is losing money. Will invest the majority in Football and Basketball. Those programs make money.

I think Byrne wasn't happy with Curry and Curry wasn't happy with the support she was getting from Byrne! You have to spend money to make money most of the time! Bama has a limited supply of money and most of it goes to the football and basketball program.
I think you will see Bama fall further behind because of the available money some of these other schools such as Texas has versus Bama. We don't have any billionaires sending money to us.

Best hire he could come up with since he had no money to offer and no money for players. Could not attract a major coach so he went this route. Pretty simple math! Even if they were winning big time, not sure they could make a profit?
You have to win! Gymnastics and Softball have been big winners in the recent years with national chapionships.
