With losses to #1 and #13.

Ole Miss has wins over #13 and #17 with losses to #1 and #8.

Penn State and Mizzou getting way too much mileage out of “close” losses. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

In fairness, voters tend not to vote for teams who lost to Mizzou. It’s a bit self-fulfilling.

Yes, rankings are determined by who loses by less. Not by actual wins/losses against a common opponent.

I’m pretty sure they take both into account

False. It’s ranking at the time the game was played.

They do in fact look at both. Margins matter.

I think most sensible folks recognize that Mizzou would stomp Ole Miss if they played today.

I’d be happy to send you a postcard from our NY6 destination. I preordered through Mizzou yesterday.

Just let me know.

As I understand it. That was because of something one of your players said last year. Only other time I remember us gator chomping at Florida was 2013.

Take solace that you didn’t have to go to college in that shite hole. They really need this NY6 bowl, they haven’t been in a decade

Ole Miss has not looked very good in their last few games and I would imagine that the Georgia beatdown in prime time is hurting them pretty badly with the voters.

Eye test tells me that Mizzou is better than Ole Miss right now. Ole Miss not the same team since losing their LT in practice before the UGA game.
