None of these SEC teams could compete with pre NIL big 6.

NIL and the revolving door transfer portal has definitely leveled the playing field, but it didn’t so much bring up lower teams. It’s watered down the traditional powers. All the depth has gone to other conferences and it shows.

I miss the days when the same teams won it every year, Pawwwl

All things considered, that is a good thing. But it’s due to the transfer portal not NIL

NIL parity is the best thing to happen to college football.

I don’t understand the downvotes. It’s obvious none of these teams could compete against a stocked Alabama team with 4/5 stars 3 deep. And the dumbasses obviously don’t see the southern talent leaving the SEC only for the money.

People say they like parity but they really don’t. When people have to start watching 2 historical losers play for the natty on a regular basis because they got boosters to go out and buy a roster then this will get old fast. Sure it knew now watching Indiana win it. Let that happen a few more years though and people will get sick of it. People want to watch the big boys play. Usually because there is some team that’s good people love to hate.

NIL has the potential to create mega teams again. All it takes is one billionaire.

Saban got greedy. Should have stayed out on that championship game with LSU (yes I have permanent PTSD due to that game). He and the SEC won too much. People were tired of it. I only want to see Indiana or their like winning a occasional Natty.

How’s that? My team benefited from this bullshite. But apparently it all depends on who will keep pumping money to their team.
