No, UGA is not a blue blood. That term is one of the most misunderstood in cfb.
There are like 7 actual blue bloods that are based on nearly a century's worth of results. One of those temas having several decades' worth of shittiness doesn't remove them, and other teams having several decade's worth of greatness doesn't add them. It would take A LOOOOONG time for any changes to happen.
And UGA isn't there. I do think it's fair to say UGA is a top 10 program in CFB history though, which is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

ND is considered a Blue Blood and they haven't won a title since Reagan was president

they also are maybe the most storied cfb program from the sports' inception until said presidency.
Granted much of that has to do with 1) playing weak schedules due to no real conference and 2) the way the sport was structured in the early days, but it's still real.

Only 5
Alabama
Ohio St
Oklahoma
Notre Dame
Southern Cal
I do think it'd be extremely hard to gain or lose said status, but I think Nebraska absolutely sucking arse for a quarter century bumped them down into the second tier with Texas and Michigan.

I think we're starting to deduce that "Blue Blood" is a crock of shite
Any CFB Royalty list that still includes Nebraska shouldn't be taken seriously

I don't think saying 7 teams out of like 120 being the cream of the historical crop over 130+ years of the sport is too crazy?

I wouldn't include them. I think the standard accepted list of blue bloods is what the bama guy above said plus michigan and texas. I think Michigan's historical records are ridiculous because they started playing before most anyone else and have a massive lack of titles the last 50 years, but it's insane to pretend they don't make the cut.

Not yet. They are #2 though among charter SEC members.

Without a doubt. For almost all of SEC history Tenn was an easy #2 but they've been easily and clearly surpassed by UGA and likely LSU as well.

New money
uninformed and dumbass opinion. Not counting bama since they're #1 in everything, or the 2 new people since their whole histories are not in the SEC, UGA ranks as follows all time in the league among the rest of the big 6 (so 5):
-1st in real natties (tied with LSU)
-1st in SEC titles
-1st in all time wins
-1st in bowl games
-1st in bowl wins
-1st in weeks ranked
-1st in weeks ranked #1
-1st in overall win percentage
I'm absolutely dying to know how this is "new money" considering the league is nearly 100 years old.

it's meaningless.
They call LSU "new money" even though LSU won a natty almost 2 decades before bama's first.
