Which is why the playoff committee would bring in a two loss SEC team over one loss team in other conferences

Quit whining. Per the great Ric Flair "If you wanna be the best, you gotta beat the best." Play the games and let the chips fall where they may.

Every league cannibalizes itself. But one conference stands out and will have a much higher percentage of teams in the CFP. The CFP committee will then MAKE SURE those teams from that conference cannibalize themselves in the CFP for the sake of parity.

The 8 game schedule for a 16 team conference was stupid too. Destroyed many annual rivalries or traditional matchups. Now it’ll be the expanded playoff to account for the increase in losses for playoff caliber teams so 3 loss teams get in. All it shows is the flaw in super conferences. Go back to 5 major conferences with 10-12 teams each. Conference champs get in playoff. Then 7 wildcard teams based on rankings no guaranteed slot for G6 teams
