Brianna Aguilera, a 19-year-old former cheerleader and student at Texas A&M University, was found dead outside of her apartment complex this weekend...
quote:

She had attended a tailgate for the Texas vs. Texas A&M football game. Aguilera’s mother is speaking out following her death.

Aguilera’s mother, Stephanie Rodriguez, said that police told her that her daughter died by suicide, though she believes she received inconsistent answers on what happened, KSAT reported.

Rodriguez believes that something more sinister might be at play in her daughter’s death. She says that her daughter was at a tailgate party with about 15 other students. Her mom believes that one of them might know what happened.

“There was a fight that happened between my daughter and another girl, and they were all staying in the same apartment that I have actual text messages of, and the detective just disregarded them,” Rodriguez said.

I was having sex on the balcony of Palms Place in Vegas around 2009 and the girl was probably rolling. She leaned back since she was propped on the ledge. I luckily caught her but my life would’ve been very different if I hadn’t. It freaked me out and I stopped and got dressed. It could be something like that.

I don't blame her mother one bit. This does not add up. She was texting with family before this "suicide". I'm not buying it.

I really feel for her family. Condolences to them. It won’t bring her back but this should definitely be investigated. The stated circumstances don’t add up to suicide. Question the girl she fought with. Talk to the others there about what they saw and heard. Seems the Austin police blew this off too quickly.

Why don’t detectives want to investigate an obvious murder? Cops are not your friend

I don’t see a girl in those pictures that is willing to kill herself.

It's hard to discern what a person is going through by their appearance or outward conduct. Sometimes the most optimistic, outwardly happy people are hiding deep and serious problems, and that buoyant personality may be a mask to disguise great pain. Not saying that's the case here, but it's always important to remember.

“ Investigators told Stephanie that there were 14 people in the apartment, and her daughter fell out of the 17th-floor apartment unit. Austin police said they weren't investigating the incident as a homicide and there were "no indications of suspicious circumstances." She was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Arguments beforehand and underage drinking with others present at apartment at time of her fall should warrant more of a look by police into suspicious circumstances. Maybe not murder but some type or criminal manslaughter.

Regardless of what school hate you have, this is a tragedy.

Hating another school is stupid. Without them we wouldn't have other teams to play against.

Spend some time in the military and you appreciate these other USA citizens that have your back "in the trenches". ... and they went back to their respective schools and areas when we finished the job.

Well said. My shipmates were of every race, religion and culture. Watching what we accomplished together on our aircraft carrier was inspiring.
