Tennessee CB Christian Charles To Enter The Transfer Portal

Tennessee cornerback Christian Charles announced his plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal on Thursday. Per On3:

Charles spent three seasons with the Volunteers, spending the last two in particular as a regular staple of the Tennessee defense. His most productive season came in 2022, where he recorded 35 tackles (19 solo). Charles followed that up with a 28-tackle performance in 2024. He did not play during the 2023 season as he was recovering from an Achilles tear.

He will be a redshirt senior for whichever team he decides to play for next. Charles was highly recruited out of high school, logging offers from the likes of Oklahoma, Indiana and Vanderbilt, among several others.
