Multiple sources are reporting that Tennessee athletic director John Currie flew to Tampa Bay this week to pitch Jon Gruden to be the next head coach of the Volunteers.

Do you think Gruden will leave his ESPN Monday Night Football gig to be the head coach at Tennessee?

More money wasted by UT on coaches. When will they learn?

Come on Gruden, take the Tennessee job man. It's getting old hat pounding a demoralized Tennessee fan base. I told Tennessee fans in the summer of 2002 there would be a serious reckoning for Phillip Fulmer's treachery. They laughed hard. Well that reckoning has run its course. I want to see a strong Tennessee team. Take the job Gruden.

Glad LSU passed on him last year. Orgeron > Gruden

If he does happen to land at UT, Vol vans will go running and screaming in the streets, and gnashing their teeth the first game he loses.
