On Monday, ESPN's Paul Finebaum criticized the SEC favorites, Tennessee, for falling short while taking a shot at head coach Tony Vitello during his radio show...
quote:

"I think ultimately this is a complete meltdown," Finebaum said. "Tony Vitello was here a week ago talking about all the things that people don’t like about him. Let’s be honest. He comes off brash and a know it all."

“That’s what made him so popular in Knoxville," Finebaum added. "That’s (also) what has made him such a villain and vilified today."

I remember his remarks to Dave Van Horn after the Arkansas losses last year. He is a classic prick and he makes it easy to root against TN in baseball.

I actually agree with Paul on this, as much as it pains me to say. The players do what the coach allows. This will not change until the coach changes or they change the coach.

But the Basevols were going to win 6 straight NC's.

Best non-champions in every sport according to what I’ve read lately.

L.O.L. Most of you jack offs were eagerly slurping his pud when we were looking for a coach. DEMANDING he be hired...and brazenly taunting Tennessee fans about how LSU is going to steal their coach. So maybe sit this one out.

Paul calling someone else a “know it all”. That’s rich.

Its evident that Vitello was sidetrscked with other thoughts ? and of his coming personal glory in the CWS and he and his team stumbled over his/their brash pride.....anyway its too warm to wear their fur coat in the heat of summer
